Kasih Yesus

Bible quote of the day - Wheat and Lalang

Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.'" Matt 13: 30 Biarkanlah lalang tumbuh bersama-sama gandum sehingga tiba masa menuai gandum. Lalu aku akan berkata kepada para penuai supaya mencabut lalang dahulu, lalu mengikatnya dan kemudian membakarnya. Selepas itu baru kumpulkan gandum, lalu simpanlah gandum di dalam jelapang.' " Matius 13:30

What does CHOICE mean to you? #13

Preparing for the CHOICE weekends is truly an amazing experience. In these series of post, we interviewed some of the members to share their encounters with CHOICE that inspired them to return and to serve subsequent weekends. 1. What is choice to you? Choice is like a family which keeps growing. It gives me a great sense of belonging and keeps me rooted in my faith. 2. How has choice change your life? Choice has made me understand myself and my relationship with my loved ones better. It has made me look at things from a different perspective and appreciate those close to me and it has also brought me closer to God. 3. What is life like after choice? Life cannot be any better after Choice. The amazing people I met here are always there to support me in good and bad times and it is so much fun going back to serve the for the weekends after that as you learn something new from each weekend. CHOICE KL #99 Weekend Finale

Another successful closure to the CHOICE 99 weekend. Kudos to all our service and presenting team members for spending your time and energy in service of our fellow CHOICE newbees.  However big or small, your contribution were very significant and very much appreciated. A big shout out also to those who have supported and prayed for us along the way. Even if you were not physically with us, you were there in spirit. Although we may seemed too focus or too serious at times and having a no nonsense type of behaviour (?moody ?Sad ?depressed, seriously Ali, I can't tell... please clarify) This is more like it bro..... 😜  Sometimes we might even feel like going after each others' throats. Other times, we were punished even though we may not have done anything wrong. And occasionally find a cake slapped on our faces. Mercilessly, we toil as minions day and night to appease the bosses and may find ourselves dead tired.

Choice English 99 (17 to 19 March)

Washing of the Feet

During this season of Lent, the CHOICE service and presenting teams took this opportunity to prepare spiritually, to focus and to recommit ourselves to the CEKL 99 weekend and to offer up our fellow participants in prayer. You call me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I am.   If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example that you also should do as I have done to you. (John 13:13-15) During our sharing sessions we acknowledged that Jesus the King of kings, Lord of lords, God Almighty, had come down to our level in humility and washed our feet. It is this attitude in servant-hood that we must adopt in order to serve one another and our brothers and sisters in CHOICE. This is in direct contrast to that of the disciples, who had recently been arguing among themselves as to which of them was the greatest ( Luke 22:24 ) Washing of the feet has two asp
